Patrick Berger was all in preflop for 31,000 against Yossi Eluz, who had him well covered as players flipped their cards.
Patrick Berger: A♥Q♥
Yossi Eluz: A♣J♣
The board ran out K♠5♥6♣2♥5♣. Neither player improved on the board, so both were playing the pair of fives with their ace high kicker. Berger had the queen kicker along with it to win the pot and double his stack, leaving Eluz short with just 4,000 behind.
Masato Kashiwabara raised to 2,500 from late position, Fabian Rolli three-bet to 7,500 from the next seat across, and then Simeon Spasov shoved all in from the big blind for 60,000. Kashiwabara asked for a count before folding his hand and Rolli also threw his cards in the muck to give the pot to Spasov.
Action folded around to Nicolas Oger, who shoved all in from the small blind. Konstantin Hammermueller called all in from the small blind with a short stack of around 10,000. Players turned their cards.
Konstantin Hammermueller: K♠6♦
Nicolas Oger: J♣3♦
The board ran out J♥Q♥4♦6♠9♠. Oger paired his jack on the flop and held to win the pot, eliminating Hammermueller.
A completed board of 9♦5♦J♣Q♣2♥ was spread on the table when Andrew Hulme shoved his stack of 54,300 in the middle from the small blind.
His opponent was Artur Sychov in early position, who asked the dealer to spread the 65,000 chip pot to get a better look at it. Shortly thereafter, the clock was called, but Sychov stuck in a call before the floor arrived at the table.
Hulme showed down J♥9♥ for two pair while Sychov was forced to show his 10♥10♦ for a pair of tens. Hulme doubled his already healthy stack to almost 150 big blinds, grabbing a significant chip lead on his table.
