An elite group helped kick off the PokerStars European Poker Tour Prague festival yesterday. Today, they’ll determine who outshines the rest as they prepare to play down to a champion when Day 2 of the €10,200 No-Limit Hold’em resumes at 12:30 p.m. local time.

The event has attracted 17 entries so far, with Lithuania’s Deividas Daubaris leading the remaining nine players with 553,500. Brazilian high roller Pablo Brito Silva is in second place with 384,000 as he looks to add to his more than $2,700,000 in live earnings, including a second-place finish in a €25,500 No-Limit Hold’em event at EPT Barcelona earlier this year and a final-table run in the €50,000 Super High Roller at EPT Prague last year.

The action on Day 2 resumes on Level 9 with blinds of 1,500-3,000 and a 3,000 big blind ante. Levels are once again 30 minutes long, with a 15-minute break after every four levels. Late registration remains open until the end of Level 10 when the prize pool will then be announced.

The poker world has returned to the Czech capital. Now it's time to start handing out trophies, and PokerNews will be there following all the action until a champion is crowned in this wintery wonderland.
