In a pot that had grown to a size of 12,000 chips, Samuel Wane fired 2,500 chips from the small blind on a flop of J♦Q♣8♥. Rene Keller then raised to 10,000 from early position before Gianluca Triassi folded from the button.

The 2♦ turn arrived and Wane chekcked to Keller, who put in his final 17,100 chips. Wane made a quick call and the cards were tabled.

In a pot of 2,500 chips, Ciprian Olariu made a bet of 700 on a flop of 7♥5♦9♣. His opponent was Emmanuel Wouters in the cutoff, and he put in a raise to 2,600. That was not enough for Olariu, however, as he reraised to 6,600.

Wouters confirmed the amount and made the call, after which both players checked the 3♣ turn. On the 6♦ river, Olariu picked up the betting again by putting 3,100 chips in the middle. A swift call followed from Wouters, and Olariu tabled A♣5♠ for just a pair of fives.

Wouters, on the other hand, was sitting on an overpair with his J♥J♦ and took down the big pot to reach double the starting stack.

The 8♠ completed the board and Frezza led out for 5,100. Laufer quickly called and Frezza turned over 9♠9♦ for nines and eights. Laufer turned over A♠J♥ for jacks and eights and collected the pot.

Stribor Gruicic opened for 1,000 chips from the cutoff before Spridion Apartoglou rereaised to 3,200 from the small blind. The action then folded back to Gruicic, who mulled it over for a bit before putting in a four-bet to 6,800 chips.

Apartoglou quickly mucked his holding and Gruicic extended his chip lead on the table.

Novotny Wins Flip to Double Through Drusca

Stefan Drusca opened to 700 from the hijack and was three-bet to 1,700 by Petr Novotny on the button. Niculina Grasu called cold from the big blind and Drusca four-bet to 5,800.

Undeterred, Novotny made it 12,000 to go, which got a fold from Grasu, but a shove from Drusca for enough to put Novotny all in for his last 28,100. Novotny called to put himself at risk and hands were revealed.

Mikoda Mariusz kicked off the action with a raise to 700 from middle position, and Filip Heres reraised to 2,100 from the cutoff. Michail Gkanis then came along from the big blind, and Mariusz put in the call as well.

On the 6♣2♣9♥ flop, Mariusz checked and Heres continued for 2,500. Gkanis quickly moved out of the way before Mariusz made the call.

The A♠ turn slowed down the action as both remaining players checked, but Mariusz retook the initiative on the 3♥ turn, where he put forth a bet of 4,100.

Heres tossed in a quick call, and Mariusz could only show 8♦7♦ for a missed straight draw. Heres, meanwhile, was sitting on top pair with A♣10♠ and took down the sizable pot.
