Jack Nolan raised to 2,500 from middle position and the action folded to Oleksii Natoptanyi in the big blind, who made the defending call. The flop fell 4♥2♠8♦ and Nolan continued for 3,000 after a check from Natoptanyi.
Natoptanyi made the call and did so too when Nolan bet 4,000 more on the Q♥ turn. The 7♣ river then completed the board and Natoptanyi checked for a third time.
Nolan decided to put it all in, risking his stack of 16,600. Natoptanyi sat in the tank for a while before emerging with a call. Nolan showed J♥J♣ for a pair of jacks and Natoptanyi tried to muck his hand.
The dealer retrieved his K♣8♥ for a pair of eights, however, and the pot was sent Nolan's way, who acquired a full double up.
