Grzegorz Kozieja raised from under the gun to 5,000 and Alexandre Hocquaux flat called next to act. Atanas Pavlov had different ideas and made the amount to go 19,000. The rest of the table folded and Kozieja put in the call. This is when Hocquaux decided to four-bet jam his stack in, worth 96,500. Pavlov quite quickly called his stack off for less, being 74,000 chips. Kozieje, who covered both opponents, thought for a good while before ultimately folding.

Starting the hand with around 70,000, Vladimir Bozinovic opened to 5,500 from under the gun before Apoorva Goel jammed for 15,500 from the button. Daniel Kyosev then jammed as the big stack from the big blind and Bozinovic quickly called for his tournament life.

runout. Bozinovic would take the side pot while Kyosev stack took a dent.

Jamil Wakil opened to 5,500 from early positon and was called by Georgi Sandev on his direct left. Danut Chisu then made it 46,000 on the bottom. Tamer Kamel called of his stack of 36,000 from the small blind. Wakil and Sandev opted to fold.

Kamel was in great shape for a double up after being on the right side of a preflop cooler. It looked liked the pot was heading to his direction following the 
flop and river. However, the 
river improved Chisu to a full house and secured the elimination.

Wakil and Sandev were chatting as the hand played out and they both revealed that they had folded pocket tens.

Andrea Ricci raised from middle position to 5,000, which Peter Jaksland reraised to 13,000 from the hijack. The action folded back to Ricci, who put in a four-bet to 30,000, around half of his total stack. Jaksland did not have to think long before he put in the rest, and Ricci snap called.

Paul Tedeschi had opened from under the gun to 5,000 when Lex Veldhuis put in the three-bet to 15,000 from middle position. Avner Sebbah decided to cold call in the big blind, while Tedeschi folded his cards.
The flop was th3c5h and Sebbah checked to Veldhuis, who put out a continuation-bet of 18,000. Sebbah called and the pair saw the 
fall on the turn. Sebbah checked again and this time Veldhuis checked back. The same happened on the river and Sebbah showed down .
Veldhuis showed the cautiously played for the winner and is now in profit from the start of the day.
