Fitoussi Loses One Then Wins One Back

Nível 4 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante
Bruno Fitoussi
Bruno Fitoussi

Bruno Fitoussi was involved in two pots back to back. In the first hand, Fitoussi raised from early position and got called by Fahredin Mustafov in the small blind. The big blind also came along.

All three players checked on a flop of {2-Spades}{q-Clubs}{k-Spades}. The turn came the {8-Diamonds}. Mustafov checked and Fitoussi fired for 5,000, which Mustafov called. On the {5-Diamonds} river, Mustafov once again checked and Fituossi fired again for 12,000. Mustafov called. Fitoussi showed {a-}{j-} and Mustafov showed {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for top pair to catch Fitoussi's bluff.

On the next hand, Fitoussi made another early position raise and this time got called by Julien Mariani in the big blind. Fitoussi continued on a flop of {7-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} and Mariani called. On the {9-Clubs} turn, Fitoussi bet out for 2,500 and got a fold out of Mariani, earning back some of the chips he lost in the previous hand.

All players who still have chips at their disposal will have locked up a cash prize and return the following day at noon local time to determine a champion.
