The flop of Q6K checked through and action checked to Botez on the A turn. Botez bet 1,500 and only Danes called. Danes checked again on the 2 river and Botez sized up to 3,500. Danes called.

Botez mucked in defeat and Danes was able to take the pot without showing his cards.

Stoenescu Gets Aces to Win Battle With Normand

Andrei Stoenescu opened to 1,000 in early position and Romain Lewis called on the button before Frederic Normand upped the price with a three-bet in the big blind. Stoenescu called and Lewis folded.

Normand continued for 2,500 on the 2KQ flop and Stoenescu called. Normand sized up to 4,500 on the 3 turn and Stoenescu again called.

Normand slowed down with a check on the 3 river and Stoenescu bet 20,000 to put Normand to the test for his remaining stack of around 13,000. Normand called.

Stoenescu showed an overpair with AA and it was good to eliminate Normand, who had a pair of queens with AQ.

Tarmo Tammel raised to 800 from the cutoff and Michael Chetrit called from the button. The blinds got out of the way and action was heads up.

The flop was 1049 and Tammel continued for 1,300. Chetrit called and the turn was 6.

Tammel checked the turn and called when Chetrit fired 2,000. The river was K and both players checked.

Chetrit showed A9 for a pair of nines to take the pot and Tammel mucked the losing hand.

Meanwhile, Alejandro Lococo has taken his seat at a nearby table.

The river was 8 and both players checked to get to showdown. Anton showed A4, but Tammel had Q10 to take the pot.
