Greenwood and the big blind both checked on the flop of 4♠6♠9♦ and Elul continued for 2,000. Greenwood check-raised to 7,500 and the big blind folded, while Elul called.
Greenwood then checked on the 4♠6♠9♦ flop and Elul bet 10,000. Greenwood called. Greenwood checked again on the 10♥ river and Elul checked back.
Greenwood tabled J♣9♣ for a pair of nines and it was good to win the pot as his opponent mucked in defeat.
Fabrice Bigot was in the small blind in a heads-up pot against Joao Vieira in the big blind on a flop of 2♦10♣8♥.
Bigot checked on the flop and Vieira announced a bet of 1,600. Bigot responded with a check-raise to around 3,500 and Vieira quickly folded.
Action was heads up with around 4,000 in the middle and 9♠3♣Q♣ on the flop when Andrew Chen check-called a 2,200 bet from Luis Faria to see 8♦ on the turn.
Chen checked again and called when Faria bet 8,400. The river was 2♣.
Both players checked the river and Chen turned over 10♦3♦ for a pair of threes, but Faria had Q♥J♥ to take the pot with a pair of queens.
Antonio Buonanno opened to 2,500 from the cutoff and Ian Hamilton and Samuel Ju both defended out of the blinds.
Hamilton and Ju checked on the flop of 7♠6♦9♠ and Buonanno continued for 3,400. Hamilton and Ju both called.
Hamilton and Ju checked again on the 3♠ turn and Buonanno sized up to 10,000, which brought folds out of both of his opponents.

Players have been sent on their final 20-minute break of the evening with the clocks showing 159 players remaining. The plan is to play two more levels when they return and then they will bag for the evening.
Maurice Anisimov limped in from the hijack and the cutoff also limped in as Sosia Jiang checked her option in the big blind.
Jiang checked on the flop of 10♣5♥9♥ and Anisimov bet 2,000. The cutoff folded and Jiang check-raised to 8,000 before Anisimov three-bet to 20,000 to put her all in for less. Jiang gave it some thought and called.
Sosia Jiang: 10♠2♥
Maurice Anisimov: Q♥10♦
Anisimov had the better kicker and Jiang couldn't improve as the board finished out 9♣7♥ to mark her elimination.
Action was heads up with 14,500 in the middle and a board of 10♥6♠7♣9♠K♠. Sam Greenwood was all in with more chips than Mohamad El Rais, who was in the tank to Greenwood's left.
El Rais considered his options before he finally called all in for around 50,000. Greenwood turned over J♥J♠, but El Rais had A♣8♣ to take the pot and double up with the straight.
Elsewhere in the room, both Sam Grafton and Vanessa Kade are nearing twice the starting stack.
