Watson Regains a Bigger Lead
Nível 33
: Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Leonard Maue raised to 650,000 on the button with 10♠3♠ and Mike Watson reraised to 2,200,000 out of the big blind with A♣Q♠. Maue was forced to let go of his suited holding and surrender the pot to Watson.
On the next hand, Watson raised to 650,000 on the button with J♦8♠ and Maue defended with 5♠3♥. The flop came 9♠7♣5♥ and both players checked to the 7♥ on the turn.
Maue checked again and Watson counted out a bet of 1,100,000. Maue called with his two pair and the 6♦ completed the board. Maue checked once more and Watson put together a bet of 3,000,000 after rivering a straight. Maue looked back at his cards and then sent them into the muck.
