Watson Extends His Lead on Maue

Mike Watson raised to 275,000 on the button with 8♠8♥ and Leonard Maue called from the big blind with the K♠8♣. The flop came A♠8♦5♦ and Maue checked to Watson who bet 180,000 after flopping a set. Maue called and the 7♣ landed on the turn.

Maue checked again and Watson put together a bet of 875,000. Maue quickly dumped his pair into the muck and Watson extended his lead over the rest of the table.
