The flop was 2♠3♣9♠ and both players checked to see 10♦ on the turn.

Wagner fired 3,000 on the turn and Kamel called. The river was 7♦.

Both players checked the river and Wagner turned over J♦10♠ for a pair of tens. Kamel mucked his cards and Wagner took the pot.

Matthew Khouri opened the action from under the gun with a raise to 2,500. Conor Beresford was enjoying a nice glass of wine in the big blind and decided to bump it up to 8,800. Khouri made the call and a flop was dealt.

6♥6♦9♦ emerged from the deck, on which Beresford made a continuation-bet of 6,500. Khouri was not ready to let go and made the call.

The 9♥ turn was checked by both players before Beresford took a good look at his cards again on the 10♣ river. What he saw apparently prompted him to go all in for his last 18,400 chips. Khouri, who only played 2,800 more, asked for a count. After the amount was confirmed, he made the call.

Beresford tabled K♣7♠ for the bluff with his king kicker, but Khouri had the better hand with A♣Q♣ for an ace kicker. ''Of course,'' Beresford exclaimed, as he left to enjoy the rest of his wine elsewhere.

Flavien Mullet raised to 3,000 from under the gun and Antonio Queijeiro three-bet to 7,500 from middle position. The rest of the table got out of the way and Mullet called to see a flop. The flop was J♥A♠10♦ and both players checked to see 3♣ on the turn. Mullet fired 7,000 and Queijeiro got away from it.

On the next hand, Franck Kalfon raised to 2,700 and Shakhabiddin Muradov called from the button before Mullet came along from the big blind. The flop was J♣2♠8♥ and Mullet checked before Kalfon fired 3,700. Both players went into the muck and Kalfon took the pot.

Meanwhile, Maria Konnikova has been chipping up at the same table.

A flop of 5♣3♠J♠ was already dealt when the action was caught. Cutoff Antonio Queijeiro checked to Mercedes Osti on the button, who fired out a bet of 6,000. Queijeiro then check-raised to 18,300 before Osti put in the three-bet all in for 48,500.

Queijeiro had to think long and hard about his decision but ended up making the call.

Osti had three-bet the flop with just a pair of sixes, hoping her opponent would fold the better hand. Queijeiro saw through it, however, and made the daring call with his top pair.

The 9♣ turn killed all backdoor opportunities for Osti and the river remained free of a six with the 10♥ completing the board.

Osti took her leave while the table complemented Queijeiro for his hero call.
