Adrean Mateos was in the big blind and was involved in a pot with Mikita Badziakouski in the cutoff. There were a modest 185,000 chips in the middle when the pair checked through the turn on 7♠10♥5♦3♠.
The river was the 2♣ and Mateos led for 110,000. Badzioukaski then put the Spaniard all-in, for 375,000 total. Mateos had an agonizing decision to make. He spent a few time bank extensions before ultimately slamming in his chips.
Badziakouski then immediately showed A♣4♠ for the rivered wheel. Mateos was not close to beating that, as he only made a pair of fives with 9♠5♠.
Mateos was eliminated and Badziakouski now hoards roughly a quarter of the chips in play.
