Nozomu Shimizu opened to 11,000 and Erik Seidel called in the cutoff. Julien Sitbon then made it 37,000 to go from the button before Shimizu four-bet all in. Seidel quickly folded before Sitbon instantly called to put Shimizu at risk.
Nozomu Shimizu: 9♦9♥
Julien Sitbon: A♥A♣
A dire situation for Shimizu and the 2♥7♥2♦ flop did not help him. The turn A♦ sealed the deal as Sitbon improved to a full house, and Shimizu took his leave while Sitbon added even more chips to his already impressive stack.

Justin Bonomo raised to 10,000 in the cutoff and Sosia Jiang defended from the big blind. The flop came K♥9♠9♣ and Bonomo continued with a bet of 5,000. Jiang check-raised to 13,000 and Bonomo called.
The turn brought the J♠ and Jiang fired out a bet of 18,000. Bonomo still called and the 2♥ completed the board. Jiang checked this time and Bonomo slid out a bet of 33,000, leaving just 500 behind. Jiang wasted little time to call and Bonomo showed Q♠4♠ for air while Jiang held K♠8♣.

Santhosh Suvarna raised to 9,000 in early position and Julien Sitbon reraised to 27,000 on his left. The action folded back to Suvarna who called to see a flop of 8♥7♦4♥.
Suvarna checked to Sitbon who continued with a bet of 35,000. Sukarna check-raised all in for 117,500 and Sitbon paused for a moment before calling it off. Suvarna turned over K♥Q♥ for a flush draw and was up against the K♠K♦ of Sitbon.
The J♣ on the turn was a brick and so was the 2♠ on the river as Sukarna headed to the rail and Sitbon collected another stack.

Isaac Haxton opened the action with a raise to 9,000 from the hijack. Tom Orpaz was sitting in the small blind and jammed all in for roughly 80,000 when the action folded to him. Haxton obliged with a call, putting Orpaz at risk.
Tom Orpaz: A♥4♥
Isaac Haxton: K♣Q♣
Orpaz flopped a pair on 4♠J♠5♥, and it doubled him up as the turn and river remained paint-free: 6♥5♣.

The action folded to Pablo Brito Silva on the button who ripped all in for his last 44,000 chips. Artur Martirosian asked for a count from the small blind and then reshoved all in for a bit more. Justin Bonomo folded his big blind and the two hands were tabled.
Pablo Brito Silva: A♠Q♦
Artur Martirosian: 7♠7♥
The flop fell Q♠9♦6♣ and Brito Silva hit a pair of queens on the flop to take the lead. The K♣ and 4♣ runout changed nothing and Brito Silva scored a double-up.

Day 1 chip leader Kayhan Mokri had lost a few chips before he became involved in a pot against Santhosh Suvarna.
The pair were battling for a 50,000 pot on the completed board of 4♥10♦9♥Q♣4♠. Suvarna fired out a bet of 16,000 from under the gun and Mokri mulled it over for a bit before putting in the call.
Suvarna smiled as he turned over 6♦7♣ for a missed draw. Mokri flopped a pair with his 8♥9♣ and held on to get the win. ''Finally, I get him!'', he gleefully exclaimed as he raked in enough chips to get him back to what he started the day with.
