No Take-Backsies
Vicente Delgado raised his button for 125,000 and Teun Mulder three-bet the small blind for 500,000, leaving himself 165,000 chips back. Delgado asked for a count and made the call, but under the presumption that it was an all-in bet. He was stopped from showing his cards just in time when he got told that Mulder still had chips behind.
"You can take it back," Mulder claimed. However, Delgado smiled and declined the generous offer.
The rest of Mulder's chips then went in on the Q♠2♥8♦ flop, and Delgado called.
Teun Mulder: 8♠8♥
Vicente Delgado: K♠9♠
Mulder had flopped a set and Delgado only had backdoor outs to look out for. However, he was drawing dead when he paired his king on the K♦ turn, and the A♣ river was dealt as a formality.
Mulder doubled up, leaving Delgado to take the role of table short-stack.
