Daher Busts Two on Back-to-Back Hands
Artur Martirosian raised to 6,000 in the cutoff before Aleksejs Ponakovs moved all in for 69,000 in the small blind. Albert Daher reshoved in the big blind and Martirosian folded K♦Q♦.
Aleksejs Ponakovs: 9♥9♣
Albert Daher: 10♦10♠
"Do you want your cards back?" Daher said to Martirosian heading to the 3♠Q♥5♣ flop, which would've given Martirosian top pair.
"I said call," Martirosian joked. The board ran out Q♣5♦ and Daher's tens sent Ponakovs to the rail.
The next hand, action folded to Daher and he raised enough to put Victoria Livschitz all in from the big blind. Livschitz called for around 50,000.
Victoria Livschitz: J♠10♣
Albert Daher: A♦2♠
The 6♠K♦6♣K♥8♦ board didn't improve Livschitz and Daher took the pot with his ace-high to bust his second opponent in as many hands.
