Valeriy Pak opened under the gun to 700,000 before the action folded to Wael Sarkis in middle position who took a moment and then moved all in having Pak covered. The action was back on Pak who thought it over and ultimately called.

Alexander Van Der Swaluw opened to 500,000 from early position and snap-called when Takahiro Tsugu jammed for 3,225,000.

Tsugu made a set of nines on the 9♠K♠6♠ flop and held out to crack the rockets after the K♥2♥ runout. Van Der Swaluw was reduced to crumbs and found himself in the big blind two hands later.

Wael Sarkis limped in and action folded to the Dutchman, and he checked his option. He then committed his last 250,000 on the Q♣8♣Q♥ flop and was quickly called.

Van Der Swaluw just laughed as he saw his opponent's hand, but he managed to take the lead after he made a straight on the J♦ turn. He sealed the checkmark after the 4♥ river for some justice.

Van Der Swaluw's wild ride was not over as the next hand he was at risk again with A♦5♥ and was up against Aziz Efe's 8♥8♠. The A♣9♦Q♥ flop put him out in front and he remained ahead after the 9♣5♦ runout.

Blind Versus Blind Carnage

The action folded all the way to Wael Sarkis in the small blind who called and Joris Ruijs checked his option in the big blind.

The 7♣9♣6♦ flop hit the felt and Sarkis quickly led out for 325,000. Ruijs sat in the tank for a moment and then raised to 750,000. Action was then back on Sarkis who only thought for a moment before moving all in. Ruijs snap called and the cards hit their backs.

Tsugu jammed for 1,400,000 from the cutoff and Gordo called from the big blind.

Tsugu had A♥J♦ and outkicked Gordo's A♣4♠. Tsugu's hand remained best as the board ran out with the 10♣8♦5♦Q♦3♥.

Karsenty Takes From the Chip Leader

The 2♣3♣10♣ flop checked through to a 5♥ turn. Sarkis checked once more and Karsenty opted to go for a 900,000 bet. Sarkis called.

The 7♠ river was checked over to Karsenty one last time and he sat in the tank for about a minute before announcing he was all in.

Sarkis snap folded but Karsenty would still gain a healthy pot in the process.
