Peffly Hits the River to Double Up
Nível 22
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
On the second hand on the day, Dario Sammartino opened to 45,000 from under the gun, then Alex Peffly three-bet all in for 160,000 in early position. All the other players folded, and Sammartino called.
Alex Peffly: A♥10♥
Dario Sammartino: K♦K♣
Peffly hit two pair on the flop 10♦8♣8♥, but it wasn't enough to beat Sammartino's kings. The J♦ on the turn didn't change anything. But the A♦ landed on the river to give the ace Peffly needed to double up.
