After Lococo's Elimination, Sitbon Doubles Up
Nível 9
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
After Alejandro Lococo's elimination by Paulius Plausinaitis (K♣J♣>A♥K♥ on A♦J♠9♥10♥Q♥), Manuel Fischer at the same table opened to 2,400 from the cutoff. But in the small blind, Kyle Chong three-bet to 9,000. In the big blind, Julien Sitbon moved all in for 7,500, and Fischer called Cheong's raise.
On the flop 4♥5♣9♣, Cheong made a continuation bet to 4,000, and Fischer called. But when Cheong checked on the turn 5♠, Fischer bet 8,000 and made Cheong fold.
Julien Sitbon: 2♣2♦
Manuel Fischer: K♠Q♥
While Fischer and Cheong were still playing, Sitbon looked like he was just waiting for his elimination. But after the river A♣, he stayed in the tournament and tripled up.
