Thorel's Pair of Sevens are Good
Nível 16
: Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Jean-Noel Thorel raised 115,000 and Kayhan Mokri made the call.
The flop came Q♠9♠7♦, and Mokri quickly checked. Thorel stacked up 10 green chips and splashed them across the line for a bet of 250,000. Mokri called.
The 5♦ hit the turn and Mokri quickly checked once again. Thorel took some time, eying Mokri's stack.
"About 900,000," Said Mokri.
After a few more seconds, Thorel tapped the table.
The 6♥ landed on the river, and both players checked. Mokri tabled 5♠2♠, missing his flush draw but making a pair of fives. Thorel rolled over A♣7♥ to scoop the pot with a pair of sevens.
