Adams Eliminated; Grafton Doubles
Nível 13
: Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Timothy Adams shoved 163,000 under the gun, and Mikalai Vaskaboinikau called in the cutoff before Sam Grafton moved all-in on the button. Vaskaboinikau asked for a count and called after hearing it was 306,000.
Timothy Adams: 9♦9♥
Sam Grafton: A♠K♠
Mikalai Vaskaboinikau: A♣Q♥
Adams was in the lead with a pair of nines until the A♦10♦3♦ flop hit the felt, pairing the ace for both of his opponents. Adams was unable to catch another diamond or a nine as the board completed with the 8♣ turn and J♣ river, sending him out of the tournament while Grafton's king-kicker earned him the double.
