Vaskaboinikau Wins Two in a Row
Mikalai Vaskaboinikau raised to 6,000 from under the gun and Jean-Noel Thorel defended his big blind.
The flop came 8♦6♦K♥ and Vaskaboinikau continued for 8,000. Thorel called to see the 4♣ turn, where Vaskaboinikau bet another 33,000. Thorel this time threw his cards away.
The next hand, Vaskaboinikau was in the big blind and called a 6,000 raise by Alejandro Lococo, as did Thorel in the small blind. All three players checked the 6♥10♠7♠ flop.
The turn came the 8♣ and Vaskaboinikau bet 6,000. Both opponents called to the K♣ river, where Vaskaboinikau bet another 40,000. Lococo went into the tank before calling, while Thorel got out of the way.
Vaskaboinikau turned over J♦9♣ for a straight and Lococo flashed the A♦ before mucking.
