Cate had ace queen and Maydanyuk had pocket sixes. The board ran out 10♦5♠J♣9♥4♦. Cate couldn't catch any help and so Maydanyuk held with his sixes to double up.

Quan Zhou raised to 9,000 from early position and was called by Jean Dijoux from middle position and Ajith Tharmalingam on the button.

The flop came 4♦Q♦J♠ and Zhou bet 11,000. Dijoux folded, but Tharmalingam raised to 25,000. Zhou called.

Zhou checked to Tharmalingam on the 10♠ turn and he bet 25,000. Zhou again called.

The 7♠ completed the board and both players checked. Zhou turned over K♦Q♥ for a pair of queens, but it was second best against Tharmalingam's Q♠J♦ for queens-up to take down the pot.

Younes Hammouchi opened to 6,500 from early position and was three-bet to 16,500 by Dan Heimiller in the cutoff. Action folded back around to Hammouchi and he made it 27,500 to go. Heimiller tanked for a bit before deciding to call.

Both players checked on the 7♠K♥Q♠ flop and then Hammouchi bet 6,500 on the K♣ turn — leaving himself just 15,000 behind. Heimiller put Hammouchi all in and Hammouchi called off his remaining stack.

Hammouchi had flopped a set of sevens and had Heimiller drawing slim.

The 10♦ river failed to improve Heimiller and Hammouchi doubled up.
