Keating Eliminated By Carreras

Alex Keating was in a heads-up pot against Bernat Carreras and faced a decision for his tournament life on a board of 2♦4♣8♣J♦.

With around 75,000 already in the pot, Carreras bet a stack of 5,000 chips to put Keating all in for his final 60,000 or so.

"My ace-high might be good. It would be crazy," Keating said. "You're about to have a lot of chips after this hand."

Someone at the table called the clock and Keating eventually called as his 30 seconds wound down. "Don't report this," Keating told PokerNews.

Carreras was ahead with a pair of nines but Keating had overcard outs before the 8♠ bricked off on the river to mark the American's elimination.
