There were 4,800 in the middle to the 
flop on which Ermanno Di Nicola bet 1,500 in the small blind. Pavlos Xanthopoulos called in the cutoff and then did so again for 3,000 on the 
turn. Di Nicola fired a third barrel for 12,000 on the 
river and Xanthopoulos went into the tank.
No call by the Greek followed and Di Nicola earned the pot with his sheer aggression.

A player in middle position raised to 700 and Jose Astima called from the next seat over. Action folded to Iosif Eva in the blinds, who shoved his dwindling stack into the middle. It was too much for the player in middle position, but Astima called and action was heads-up with Eva at risk.
