With a big pot brewing over 250,000 and {4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} on the board, Gerald Claude Soldermann checked from the big blind and Markus Garberg put out a stack of T-5,000.

Soldermann sighed and counted out his last 30,000 before stacking them up and moving them to the middle. Garberg turned over {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} and Soldermann saw the bad news as he tabled {6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}.

The river was {4-Diamonds} and the kings held to eliminate Soldermann from the tournament. Garberg has chipped up to over 450K early in Day 2.

They battled again just now on a paired queen-high board on which Allouche bet 27,000. Baumann moved all-in for just 40,000 and to the surprise of everyone at the table, Allouche instantly folded.
