Lestrade Picks Off a Bluff

Nível 1 : 100/100, 100 ante

In a four-bet pot, Jean-Yves Lestrade was on the button and heads-up with Jean-René Fontaine. Both players stuck in 3,700 preflop and the dealer fanned the flop of {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{6-Spades}. The action checked around to the {k-Hearts} on the turn.

Fontaine led out with a bet of 3,000 and Lestrade quickly called to see the {5-Diamonds} on the river. Faced with another bet of 7,000 on the river, Lestrade snapped it off. Fontaine turned over {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for two pair but Lestrade held {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} for three kings to claim the pot.
