Action folded to Hendrik Soering who picked up {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} for the pocket rockets in the small blind. He raised to 2,300,000 before Yoan Asparuhov moved all in from the big blind for 7,500,000 with {q-Spades}{j-Spades}. Soering snap called.

Yoan Asparuhov: {q-Spades}{j-Spades}
Hendrik Soering: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}

Asparuhov saw the bad news as he was up against the best hand in poker. The flop gave Asparuhov little hope as the board came {9-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. There was a small bit of hope as the turn came the {8-Spades} giving the Bulgarian a gutshot straight draw. However it didn't come in as the river came the {9-Hearts} which eliminated Asparuhov in 8th place for €72,170.

Renat Bohdanov: {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}
Rick van Bruggen: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The turn was the {7-Hearts} and the river the {5-Spades} which sent Bohdanov home in ninth place for a €55,500 payday.
