Amiri Busts Iskandarov to Take Chip Lead

Nível 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Ehsan Amiri
Ehsan Amiri

Ehsan Amiri is the runaway chip leader after he busted Rashad Iskandarov in one of the largest pots of the day so far.

PokerNews didn't catch the action, but Iskandarov was seen pushing his stack of over 300,000 to Amiri on the river before the dealer washed the board. The Australian now sits with a stack of around 890,000, far in front of his closest competitors.

Seidel Falls to Flush of Robovic

Nível 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Erik Seidel
Erik Seidel

According to the table, there was an open to 10,000 in middle position before Erik Seidel three-bet shoved a stack of 61,000 from late position. Andrija Robovic then re-shoved a stack of 62,000 to get the hand heads-up and put the Poker Hall of Famer at risk.

As the table relayed to PokerNews, Seidel held {k-}{q-} against the {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} of Robovic. Seidel took the lead on the queen-high flop, but the board ran out to give Robovic a flush and eliminate the nine-time WSOP bracelet winner, who earlier in the series finished runner-up in €100,000 Super High Roller for €1,286,490.

Martirosian Vaults Toward Chip Lead

Nível 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Artur Martirosian
Artur Martirosian

With approximately 140,000 in the middle on a completed board of {10-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}, Artur Martirosian moved all in on the big blind for Brunno Botteon's remaining 100,000 chips.

Botteon made the call and got bad news as his {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for second pair was beaten by Martirosian's top pair with {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}.

With the win, Martirosian is now in contention for the chip lead.

Ognyan Dimov: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Lukas Zaskodny: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Dimov was able to survive the flip as the board ran out {2-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for his tens to stay ahead for a double.

Mateos and Kade Chop With Two Pair

Nível 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Dejan Kaladurdevic opened from the cutoff and Vanessa Kade and Adrian Mateos called from the blinds.

The flop landed {q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and Kade and Mateos both checked in flow. Kaladurdevic checked back. The turn brought the {8-Hearts} and Kade led out with a bet of 15,000. Mateos took a moment and raised to around 50,000 and Kaladurdevic quickly folded before Kade three-bet all in. Mateos called.

Adrian Mateos: {6-Spades}{5-Spades}
Vanessa Kade: {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

Kade let out a chuckle as she saw that Mateos had the same hand and a meaningless river bricked off for the two to chop the pot.

Benitez Left With Crumbs Then Eliminated

Nível 15 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Francisco Benitez
Francisco Benitez

On a turn board of {3-Spades}{a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, Francisco Benitez had bet 18,000 from late position, but was facing an all-in check-raise from Jesse Cesar Fonseca under the gun for 78,500.

Benitez used a couple of time bank cards before plunking down chips for a call. Unfortunately for the man who has won a pair of events at this year's EPT Barcelona, he was drawing dead as Fonseca held {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for a full house while Benitez had {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for just a pair of tens.

Benitez was left with just 30,000 chips which would disappear shortly after, ending his day in the tournament.
