Kisacikoglu Chips Up Without Showdown

Nível 12 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

In a limped battle of the blinds, the {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop went check, check. Pascal Lefrancois then bet the {j-Spades} turn for 18,000 and Orpen Kisacikoglu called in the big blind. That led the duo to the {7-Spades} river on which Lefrancois stared at the shot clock until the last five seconds before betting 27,000.

Kisacikoglu made the call and Lefrancois mucked his cards to forfeit the pot, as he became the shortest stack at the table.

The turn brought the {10-Clubs} and Kisacikoglu check-called another bet of 45,000 from Brito Silva. The {4-Spades} landed on the river and Kisacikoglu checked once more. Brito Silva jammed all in and Kisacikoglu quickly dispatched his cards.

Brito Silva Keeps Adding Chips

Nível 12 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Three ways to the {j-Spades}{10-Spades}{7-Spades}{8-Clubs} turn, Pablo Brito Silva bet 20,000 out of the small blind. Jean-Noel Thorel called out of the big blind and Pascal Lefrancois in the hijack folded. The {10-Diamonds} river paired the board and Brito Silva used a portion of his 30-second shot clock before moving all-in.

Thorel pondered about his move for a few seconds only and opted to fold.

O'Dwyer Rivers a Set

Nível 12 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Steve O'Dwyer raised to 12,000 from the hijack and was called by Adrian Mateos on the button. The flop came {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and both players checked to the {3-Spades} on the turn.

O'Dwyer checked again and Mateos fired out a bet of 20,000 this time. O'Dwyer called and the {8-Diamonds} completed the board. O'Dwyer checked for the third time and Mateos shipped all in. O'Dwyer snap-called his last 55,000 and Mateos showed {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for a missed straight draw. O'Dwyer held {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for a set of eights to earn a double-up.

Thorel Loses a Pot; Jams Into Holz

Nível 12 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Heads-up to the {a-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Spades} flop, Pablo Brito Silva checked out of the big blind and then called a bet worth 10,000 by Jean-Noel Thorel from under the gun. Both checked the {4-Diamonds} turn and Brito Silva bet the {8-Diamonds} river for what appeared to be 90,000 with few chips behind. Thorel quickly folded and the next hand proceeded.

Fedor Holz opened to 11,000 in the last hand of the previous level and Thorel defended the big blind to check in the dark. On a {10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop, Thorel then check-raised from 10,000 to 30,000 and Holz stuck around. The {6-Clubs} followed on the turn and Thorel jammed to force out Holz.

Holz Leaves Adams on Fumes; Lefrancois Scores the Knockout

Nível 11 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Timothy Adams
Timothy Adams

Pablo Brito Silva raised to 10,000 in the hijack and Fedor Holz called on the button, Timothy Adams defended the big blind.

On the {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop, only Adams check-called a bet worth 14,000 by Holz and the {a-Diamonds} turn was checked by both players. Adams bet the {4-Hearts} river for 70,000 with 3,000 behind and Holz used two time banks before making the call.

Adams tabled the {k-Clubs}{8-Spades} for two pair, which Holz had beat with {a-Spades}{10-Clubs} for the superior two pair.

One hand later, Jean-Noel Thorel opened to 10,000 and Pascal Lefrancois came along on the button, Adams called all-in from the small blind. The {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop was checked by Thorel, Lefrancois bet 10,000 and earned a call. After the {7-Clubs} turn, Thorel checked and subsequently folded when Lefrancois bet 18,000.

Timothy Adams: {q-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Pascal Lefrancois: {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

The {q-Spades} river didn't matter anymore as Lefrancois had already locked up the knockout with his full house.

Up and Down for O'Dwyer

Nível 11 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Alex Kulev raised to 10,000 in the cutoff and was called by Steve O'Dwyer and Ben Heath in the blinds. The flop came {j-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and the action checked to Kulev who continued for 7,000. O'Dwyer called and Heath folded.

The {3-Diamonds} paired the board on the turn and both players checked through to the {q-Spades} and checked again. O'Dwyer tabled {2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for the only pair in the hand won the pot.

On the next hand, O'Dwyer made it 11,000 on the button and Heath called from the small blind. The flop fell {q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and the two players got all of the chips in the middle with Heath being at risk for 61,000.

Ben Heath: {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Steve O'Dwyer: {a-Spades}{2-Spades}

Heath flopped the best hand with a pair of queens while O'Dwyer needed to improve his pair of deuces. The {k-Hearts} on the turn and the {4-Spades} on the river changed nothing as Heath scored a double-up.
