With around 125,000 already in the pot, Beresford bet 30,000 and Hamilton called. Beresford sized up to 130,000 on the {10-Diamonds} turn and Hamilton again called.

The river brought the {4-Clubs} and Beresford slowed down and checked. Hamilton took a moment before betting 225,000, at which point Beresford folded.

Day 1a chip leader, Luis Faria, opened the action to 17,000 from under the gun and was flat-called by Jack Sinclair in the seat to his left. Action folded to Sergio Coutinho, in the big blind, who squeezed for a total of 65,000.

Faria called and Sinclair then reraised to 145,000. Coutinho mucked his hand and Faria raised again, to 280,000 total, putting himself all in. Sinclair called.

The river {6-Spades} saw Romero check again, only to snap call when Boulton announced all in. Boulton showed {k-Hearts}{j-Spades} for top pair, while Romero had flopped a flush with {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} to score the knockout.

Vito moved all in on the river and Chuttani considered calling off after already committing most of his stack. Eventually, he did so.

Vito tabled {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for an ace-high flush, which was good to with the pot as Chuttani showed {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for a queen-high flush.
