Rokita Gets Felted

Nível 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Mateusz Wozniak jammed from the small blind as the covering stack and Roland Rokita called off his last 60,000 chips from the big blind.

Roland Rokita: {a-Clubs}{2-Hearts}
Mateusz Wozniak: {7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

Wozniak connected best on the {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} runout and ousted Rokita from the event.

Gouveia Survives

Nível 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Ian Drake opened the action from the cutoff before Giovani Gouveia jammed for 108,000 from the button. Action folded back to Drake, who made the call.

Giovani Gouveia: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Ian Drake: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}

Gouveia made a pair on the {k-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop and held out to double on the {10-Clubs} turn and {j-Hearts} river.

Marques Finds a Double

Nível 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Daniel Marques and Tom Fuchs found themselves in a classic race with Marques the player at risk.

Daniel Marques: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Tom Fuchs: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}

Fuchs was slightly in front but it was Marques that took the lead on the {a-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{8-Clubs} flop. The turn was the {5-Diamonds} and Fuchs needed to find one of the remaining two sevens in the deck. The river was the {8-Diamonds} and Marques' two pair was enough to take down the pot and a much-welcomed double.

Lococo Takes From Hellmuth

Nível 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Alejandro Lococo
Alejandro Lococo

Alejandro Lococo opened to 16,000 from under the gun and was called by Martin Hellmuth from the hijack.

Lococo check-called for 20,000 on the {4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop before action checked through on the {q-Spades} turn. On the {8-Hearts} river, Lococo bet 44,000 and Hellmuth snap-called.

Lococo had the winner with his {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} while Hellmuth was relieved to lose the minimum after he rolled over his {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}.

Sirichuk Caught Speeding

Nível 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Action was caught on the river, with the {k-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{q-Spades}{4-Diamonds} board on display. Rodrigo Sirichuk checked from the hijack before Martin Hellmuth bet 40,000 from the button.

Sirichuk raised to 105,000 and Hellmuth didn't like it.

"I got too greedy," said Hellmuth despite deciding to make the call. Sirichuk rolled over his {j-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for jack-high. Upon seeing the hand, Hellmuth turned over his {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}, which was good for top two pair.

"I'm glad I was too greedy," commented Hellmuth.
