Charalambous Gets a Knockout
Paul Van Oort got his remaining chips in from middle position before the flop against Peter Charalambous, who was in the big blind.

Van Oort's chances were slim and got even slimmer as the flop fell 
to give Charalambous a set of aces, leaving him in need of running Broadway cards or perfect-perfect to quad queens to stay alive. The turn 
ended his hopes of either possibility happening, leaving him drawing dead as the river 
fell to finish the runout.
A few moments later, Charalambous was seen winning a small pot against Gaelle Baumann at showdown after he announced ace high, which proved to be good as Baumann looked back at her own cards and then congratulated Chralambous on a nice hand as she sent her cards to the muck.
The pot brought Charalambous up to 186,000, and while Baumann did not win the hand, she has appeared to have chipped up to 180,000 recently, bringing her well above the average stack with around 160 players remaining in the field.
