Fernandes Finds Small Value on River
Manuel Fernandes opened to 9,000 in the hijack and was called by Jinho Hong, who was in the cutoff. The remaining players in the hand folded and action went heads up to a flop of 
. Both players checked.
The turn came 
and Fernandes bet 15,000. Hong thought for about 40 seconds and then called.
The river fell 
and Fernandes fired out another 15,000. Hong went into the tank for around three minutes, at which point Fernandes called for a clock. The floor was there right away and Hong quickly dropped a chip in to call before the floor could even ask the dealer if he had had enough time to act.
Fernandes tabled 
and Hong sat there for a moment, tapping the felt twice in a slow and deliberate fashion before sending his cards to the muck. The pot was sent to Fernandes and Hong shook his head a little bit right as Fernandes finished stacking his chips. Fernandes reached over and tapped Hong's arm in a manner that said he sympathized with him, which was warmly received by Hong despite having just the lost pot.
