The High Rollers Continue to Roll In

Nível 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Isaac Haxton
Isaac Haxton

Isaac Haxton and Charlie Carrel are the two latest high rollers to get involved.

Haxton has amassed more than $24 million in tournament cashes and is 13th on the all-time money list. The pro has already chipped up somewhat after three-betting all in from the small blind versus a cutoff open.

Carrel has already had an incredible run at the festival, with three high roller final table cashes out of three already in the bag. Those results have pushed him over the $7 million in live tournament earnings, which is worthy of 5th place on England's all-time money list.

Peters Eliminated by Tregoubov

Nível 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
David Peters
David Peters

On the three-way turn of {q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}, Igor Tregoubov bet 2,500 out of the small blind and Dmitrii Sukhorukov raised to 6,600 in the big blind. David Peters in the hijack called with 11,000 behind and Tregoubov now raised to 32,500. Sukhorukov shook his head, double-checked the cards and folded, while Peters called all in.

David Peters: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Igor Tregoubov: {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}

The river was the blank {4-Clubs} and Peters headed to the rail.

"I had pocket treys, I swear," Sukhorukov mentioned in table chat.

Heidorn and Mosele Depart

Nível 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Robert Heidorn jammed the button for the last 9,300 and Joao Vieira just called out of the small blind. Andreas Vlachos in the big blind gave it some thought and folded.

Heidorn rolled over {a-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and Vieira had the {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}. The board came {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades} and that spelled the end for Heidorn.

Massimo Mosele also departed shortly after. The Italian got his last nine big blinds in with {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and Paul Newey had that dominated with {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. Nothing changed on the {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{j-Spades} board and the Italian headed to the rail as well.

The final break of the day is almost upon the players and here's how some of them are getting on.

Cormio Eliminated by Travers

Nível 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

Mauro Cormio raised the button and Dimitar Danchev called in the small blind. Ambrose Travers raised to 5,200 in the big blind and both opponents called to see a flop of {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. Danchev checked and Travers bet 4,500, Cormio shoved for 11,500 and, once Danchev had folded, Travers made the call.

Mauro Cormio: {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Ambrose Travers: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

The {2-Spades} turn and the {j-Spades} river failed to improve Cormio and he headed to the rail.

Wang Left Short

Nível 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

Luca Maccatrozzo ended up all in and at risk with the {a-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Michael Wang looked him up with the slightly superior ace in {a-Hearts}{7-Spades}. The board came {q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and the Italian rivered a straight to send Wang below the starting stack.
