With the three short stacks around, it's mostly Julien Martini who's been raising it up and stealing the blinds and antes. Martini's successful raise and take its, as well as a small pot against Jean-René Fontaine, has moved him up to the 50M mark.

Claudio Di Giacomo shoved 3,100,000 — five big blinds — from the cutoff but found no customers. The last remaining non-French players jokingly raised his arms up in the air with a 'why don't you call'-look.
