After 20 levels of one hour each, the opening €10,300 High Roller of the 2018 PokerStars European Poker Tour Barcelona has seen a field of 124 entries whittled down all the way to the nine-handed unofficial final table. All finalists are guaranteed at least €30,100 for their efforts and a payday of €302,500 as well as the spadie trophy awaits for the eventual champion.

Leading the last nine into the final day is Iran's Bahram Chobineh as one of two players with more than one million in chips. Chobineh will return with 1,320,000 and faces tough competition with several regulars of the high roller circuit still in contention. Michael Soyza, who sits in fifth place on Malaysia's all-time money list, returns with 1,235,000 and Kai Lehto is in third place with 965,000.

PokerStars Team Pro Liv Boeree already final-tabled this event in 2017 and finished 8th, this time she will carry over the 4th biggest stack into Day 3 with 685,000. Just behind Boeree are three names that can be regularly found competing in the High Roller events all over the world: Luc Greenwood (590,000), Dario Sammartino (490,000) and Orpen Kisacikoglu (425,000). Defending champion Goran Mandic (295,000) and Denys Shafikov (195,000) round up the final table line up.

The action is set to resume at 12.30 p.m. local time with level 21 at blinds of 10,000/20,000 with a big blind ante of 20,000 and the PokerNews live reporting team will be on the floor to provide all the action until a champion is crowned.
