Tournament staff told players that there would be a ten-minute break at the end of the level, instead of the scheduled 75-minute dinner break, and they would return to play until the money before breaking for dinner.
Players were unenthused by that idea, to say the least, so it was amended to five more hands (the first of which would be in the last blind level) before breaking for dinner. If the bubble burst, the players would be immediately sent on dinner.
