Small Pot for Kenney; Been Gets Shorter

Nível 13 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Byron Kaverman pushed Aaron Been out of a big pot on an ace-high board to collect the chips without showdown and Been has since lost another small pot when defending his big blind against Christoph Vogelsang. On the {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop, Been check-called a bet of 35,000 and the {10-Hearts} turn brought another check by Been. Vogelsang made it 77,000 to go and that forced a fold.

Jean-Noel Thorel raised to 40,000 and Bryn Kenney called in the big blind. The {4-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop was checked by both and Kenney bet the {A-Hearts} turn for 50,000, Thorel gave it some consideration and folded.

Nível 13 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

On the {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop, Khangah checked and called a bet of 37,000 by Mateos. The {7-Diamonds} on the turn went check, check, and the {4-Clubs} river completed the board.

Cary Katz
Cary Katz

The action started with a raise to 37,000 by Cary Katz from the under-the-gun position and Jean-Noel Thorel in the cutoff called. Ahadpur Khangah raised to 85,000 on the button and Katz clicked it back up to 175,000, which forced out Thorel. Khangah, however, came along and they saw a flop of {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}. Katz continued for 67,000 and was called to see the {K-Spades} on the turn.

Katz now fired a second barrel of what appeared to be 145,000, but the size barely mattered as Khangah quickly moved all in and Katz almost beat him to it with an instant call.

Cary Katz: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}
Ahadpur Khangah: {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}

The {A-Hearts} on the river further improved Katz to aces and kings, and he doubled for 485,000.
