Peters Doubles Through Blomqvist

Nível 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Tobias Peters
Tobias Peters

Niklas Blomqvist raised to 12,000 from the cutoff and Tobias Peters three-bet to 37,500 from the button. The blinds folded for Blomqvist to four-bet shove with the bigger stack. Peters snap-called for the 159,500 he had behind.

Tobias Peters: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Niklas Blomqvist: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

The board ran out {2-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{6-Clubs} for Peters to turn a higher pair with the queens. Peters just needed to avoid another heart on the river and that's just what he did to double up.

Bedell Takes From Ruijs

Nível 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Tom-Aksel Bedell raised to 11,000 from the hijack and Joris Ruijs three-bet to 33,000 from the button. Action folded back to Bedell who called.

They both checked through the {7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop to the {q-Clubs} on the turn. Bedell now bet 37,500 and Ruijs called.

The river completed the board with the {7-Clubs}, Bedell barreled another bet over the line, now for 47,000. Ruijs contemplated for about twenty seconds before he made the call. Ruijs quickly mucked though when he saw Bedell had {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}.

Maslak Busto Early

Nível 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

After an early open to 11,000 from Aliaksei Ivanou, Konstantin Maslak shoved all in from the next seat for what looked like around 80,000. Ivanou called when action folded back to him, showing {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}. Maslak was in big trouble with {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} but did flop some equity as {k-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} hit. The {7-Diamonds} turn gave him a worthless flush draw and the {8-Clubs} river sealed the bracelet winner's fate.

Tournament Room
Tournament Room

Welcome back to the PokerStars European Poker Tour Prague and Day 3 of the €5,300 EPT Main Event here in the Hilton Prague. After two starting flights and Day 2, 137 surviving players out of 1,174 entries will return at noon to battle it out on the felt to see who will make it into Day 4. All returning players have already secured a cash of at least €9,790.

Natalie Teh claimed the chip lead last night with 786,000 but is closely followed by Parker Talbot who bagged 773,500 and Evangelos Bechrakis with 730,000. Actually, if you look at the seat draw, Teh and Bechrakis have been drawn on the same table, together with another top 5 chip stack, Arthur Conan (705,000). Other notable players on that table include Markus Durnegger and Serdar Demircan.

Talbot’s table also features Michal Schuh who lost a huge pot to Teh last night for the chip lead. Anton Wigg is fourth in the chip counts with 708,500 and is seated at the same table as Tomas Jozonis, Jia Tang, and Christopher Andler. Patrik Antonius is sharing table space with Danilo Velasevic.

Luc Greenwood will be sparring with Xixiang Luo, Henrik Hecklen, Gary Hasson, Sylvain Loosli, and Guoliang Wei. Former EPT Champion Andrey Pateychuk has Jason Wheeler, Simon Pedersen, and Markku Koplimaa on his starting table. And the list of interesting tables goes on and on.

Another five levels of 90 minutes each have been scheduled today with a 20-minute break after each level. This is how today will go:
