Today at the Hilton Prague another PokerStars European Poker Tour High Roller champion will be crowned with 18 players still in contention of winning the €503,700 first-place prize.
Former EPT Prague Main Event champion Jasper Meijer Van Putten will sit down as the chip leader when the action gets underway at 12:30 pm but will have tough competition from a host of High Roller regulars still in the pack.
Henrik Hecklen (1,512,000), Niall Farrell (1,404,000), Alexandre Reard (1,133,000), and Max Silver (912,000), who won the €10,300 EPT Barcelona High Roller in August for €600,924, complete the top five stacks, with the likes of Michael Addamo (815,000), Ole Schemion (702,000), and Daniel Dvoress (622,000) looking for forge their way to the top of the leaderboard today.
Danny Tang, who won this event under the PokerStars Championship banner last year, has a shot at an incredible back-to-back title defense and will start the day in the middle of the pack with 696,000.
Charlie Carrel, who cashed in the €50,000 No Limit Hold'em event this week but just missed out on a place in the money in both the €25,000 High Rollers, comes into play with the most work to do after he was only able to bag 97,000.
Blinds will begin in level 21 at 10,000/20,000/20,000 big blind ante.
The 30-second shot clock will once again be used, with each player given fresh 30-second time-extension cards at the start of play.
