Right after busting the €25,750 High Roller, the likes of Ramin Hajiyev, Oleksii Khoroshenin and Ole Schemion jumped right into the Main instead of opting for a day off after some intense high roller action. If you scratched yourself on the head why so many familiar high roller names entered the Main Event yesterday, worry no more because you'll find the answer today.
Why that is? It's really simple: today's €10,300 Single-Day High Roller tournament.
By entering Day 1a, they are able to enter today's €10,200 Single Day High Roller without missing a day of the Main Event.
The Single-Day High Roller starts at 12:30 and players will start with 100,000 in chips. Levels will have a duration of 30 minutes throughout with the first level starting at 500/1,000 (100-ante).
Last year, Steve O'Dwyer won the event for a staggering €327,030 after beating a field of 134 entries (99 uniques and 35 reentries), his 11th biggest score to date. We don't expect a field as big as the one last year as the international tournament schedule is quite busy at the moment, but we still anticipate an exciting day of poker.

From the hijack, Marcin Chmielewski raised to 3,000 and his neighbor Ali Reza Fatehi called from the cutoff. Over on the button it was Orpen Kisacikoglu squeezing to 10,500 and both blinds released.
Action was back on Chmielewski and he four-bet to 25,000. Fatehi thought about it for just a bit before he moved in for 69,600. Kisacikoglu folded, Chmielewski called.

Chmielewski had about 25,000 left after the hand, but busted shortly after as he pushed with and was called by, again by Fatehi, . A six hit and Chmielewski made his way to the registration desk to buy back in. He drew the same seat, so he's back like nothing happened.
Yesterday, Max Silver's deep run in the €25,750 High Roller ended in fourth place, giving him a nice payday of €164,030. Today however, Silver busted quickly in uneventful fashion.
After a preflop raising war, Max Silver and Martin Kozlov got their stacks in the middle. Silver held , but was outmatched by the Australian's . The board didn't bring any help, and Silver was off to the rail to decide whether he wants to re-enter.
Piotr Franczak opened to 4,000 under the gun. Benjamin Pollak three-bet to 11,500 in middle position. On the button, Adrian Mateos moved all in for 31,000. Oleksii Khoroshenin reshoved all in for 160,000 from the small blind, putting a major decision on Pollak.
The Frenchman took a lot of time, and eventually got the clock called on him. With thirty seconds left to go, Pollak flung his hand hard in the muck.

Pollak breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing Khoroshenin's hand. The board ran out , giving Mateos the winner with trip aces and nearly tripling him up.
Jean-Noel Thorel opened in late position. Charlie Carrel three-bet shoved from the big blind, to put Thorel at risk, and the Frenchman called.
The board ran out , giving Carrel trip deuces to whip Thorel.
"Noooo!" the Frenchman exclaimed, smiling, before making his way to the exit.
In the next hand, Carrel raised from the small blind and Marcin Chmielewski shoved from the big blind. It was 52,000 to Carrel, who wasted no time calling.

This time, it was Carrel who had the best of it, but the underdog prevailed once again. A rundown gave Chmielewski the winner with a pair of kings.
Pratyush Buddiga - EPT 13 Barcelona €25,500 Single-Day High Roller Winner
Pratyush Buddiga, who won €61,690 in the €10,300 High Roller earlier this week, is probably the latest entrant of the day. Buddiga will take a shot with 12.5 big blinds.
Michael Ho open-shoved 113,000 from early position. Scott Seiver reshoved all in from late position to put Ho at risk.

From the hijack, over on table 1 it was Benjamin Pollak raising to 24,000 with 265,000 behind. Small blind Rocco Palumbo three-bet to 76,000 and called the shove for 289,000 total.
