Jean-Noel Thorel is the first player to bust on both his two bullets, resulting in the exit of the Frenchman as only one reentry is allowed. Thorel was involved in a three-way hand to the flop and bet 15,000 out of the big blind.
Steve O'Dwyer raised to 50,000 and the third player folded, Thorel asked the dealer for the amount and then called. On the turn, Thorel quickly check-called another bet worth 50,000 before the fell on the river.
Thorel checked with about 80,000 chips behind, O'Dwyer asked him to show the stack and then shoved. The Frenchman called it off with but ended up second best to the of O'Dwyer.
Dan Shak busted towards the end of the previous level still and bought back in, as did Erik Seidel to bump up the number to 67 in total including six reentries.
The second 20-minute break of the day has commenced. In 20 minutes time, level 8 will start and that will be the last level players will be able to do their reentry in case they bust. Registration closes 50 minutes from now.
Justin Bonomo as well as Fabian Quoss dropped in chips and will be under immediate pressure when the action recommences after the break.
Quoss bet the river for 33,000 out of the big blind and then folded to a raise to 75,000 by Salman Behbehani in the hijack.
Bonomo raised to 7,000 from under the gun and Kitson Kho called in the big blind. The flop came and Kho check-called a continuation bet worth 8,000. On the turn, the second barrel was worth 20,000 and Kho check-called. The dealer burned and turned the river and Kho checked for a third time.
Bonomo made it 50,000 to go and then faced the check-raise all in. After some consideration, the American folded and left himself rather short in chips.
Dario Sammartino opened the action with a 7,000 button raise. Big blind Sam Greenwood was the only caller and check called 5,000 on as well. The two of them checked the on the turn before the dealer placed the on the table to complete the board. Greenwood checked again, and called Sammartino's 15,500 bet. Sammartino tabled and Greenwood mucked.
At the end of this level, a short break takes place to remove the T-100 chips from the tournament. Registration will stay open for another level though and that also gives all players a chance to take advantage of the single reentry option.
Ivan Luca, who finished 8th in the €100,000 Super High Roller yesterday, has been eliminated from the tournament. He raised to 6,600 from first position and got three bet to 20,000 by cutoff Dominik Nitsche. Action folded back to Luca and he pushed for around 80,000. Nitsche instantly called.
