Palumbo Takes from Charania

Nível 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

On the heads up turn [Qh106c2h], Mohsin Charania checked and Rocco Palumbo bet 6,500 from the cutoff. Charania called from late position before checking again the {9-Hearts} river.

Now Palumbo made it 15,600 to go, pretty much half of what Charania had left behind. The former EPT Grand Final champion gave it some thought and then mucked.

Nível 2 : 100/200, 25 ante
Orpen Kisacikoglu
Orpen Kisacikoglu

Joining the action on the four-way turn {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}, Timothy Adams and Sam Chartier checked in the blinds and Orpen Kisacikoglu bet 1,500. Only Yuguang Li called to see the {3-Hearts} river and Kisacikoglu fired another bet worth 3,300. Li called and was shown {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a bluff by the Turk, claiming the pot with his {A-Spades}{J-Spades}.

Li is still down in chips though and recovered some of the early losses.

Wang Flushes Greenwood

Nível 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

Ole Schemion raised to 600 and was called by Yang Wang in the cutoff before Sam Greenwood on the button raised it up to 2,000. Both opponents called and headed to the {K-Spades}{10-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop. The action was checked to Greenwood and he continued for 4,500. Wang then check-raised to 11,000 after Schemion had folded and was called by Greenwood.

On the {Q-Spades} turn, Wang bet 18,000 and received a call before shoving the {2-Spades} river for 25,000. Greenwood called with {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades} and Wang flashed {J-Spades}{8-Spades} to leave his opponent short. The same table features Niall Farrell with more than twice the starting stack and Dietrich Fast also enjoys a decent start to the event.

Jaka's Not so Great Start

Nível 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

Haralabos Voulgaris won a big pot off Faraz Jaka and the latter was then just spotted betting the {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} river once Thomas Muehloecker had checked to him. The Austrian called with {Q-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and that won the pot.

Mantel's Nuts Beat Nitsche's Second Nuts

Nível 2 : 100/200, 25 ante
Ariel Mantel

On the four-way turn {J-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{10-Clubs}, the action was checked to Dominik Nitsche and he bet 2,400 out of the big blind. All opponents called and the {3-Diamonds} fell on the river. Ariel Mantel bet 14,000 and Nitsche was the only caller, the German immediately asked "do you have the nut flush?" and Mantel indeed flashed {A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}.

Nitsche grinned and mucked the {K-Diamonds} and another diamond for second nut flush ...
