Margereson Takes from Kan

Nível 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Scott Margereson opened and then called the three-bet to 28,500 by Raiden Kan. On the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop, Margereson check-called a bet of 30,000 and the duo then checked the {A-Hearts} turn. On the {10-Spades} river, Margereson checked for the third time and Kan was almost willing to bet before checking behind and flashing {J-Clubs}{J-Spades}.

Margereson flipped over {Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and took down the pot with aces and queens.

Williams is New Chip Leader

Nível 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Frank Williams is the new chip leader in the EPT Dublin Main Event after knocking out [Removed:4]. Rudelitz opened and was three-bet from Frank Williams in the hijack. The blinds folded and action was back on Rudelitz who four-bet jammed for roughly 40 big blinds. Williams made the call and his {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} was marginally ahead of his opponent's {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}. The flop came {4-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{2-Clubs}, and although the {10-Spades} did open straight opportunities for Rudelitz, the {4-Diamonds} ensured that he left two short of the money.

Lucky Double for Monstad

Nível 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

On a board of {2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{K-Clubs}, Kuljinder Sidhu had checked from the big blind. Vebjorn Monstad bet 25,000 and Sidhu now check shoved all in for effectively 90,500. Monstad thought about it for a bit, before he reluctantly made the call.

Kuljinder Sidhu: {4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}
Vebjorn Monstad: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}

Monstad was at risk and needed help to stay alive. The {6-Hearts} on the river resulted in exactly that, as he doubled up with the better two pair.
