In the last hand before the break Jason Mercier had bet 17,600 into a pot of nearly 40,000 against Masters Classic winner Jussi Nevanlinna on a board of 
. Nevanlinna then raised enough to put Mercier all-in, and after much thought Mercier made the call.
Nevanlinna showed

As he left Nevanlinna asked the dealer to see Mercier's cards, but the dealer had already pulled them partially into the muck. Nevanlinna felt as it was an all-in and call that he was entitled to see Mercier's cards.
The floor was called and after clearing up the action on the river, and with Mercier's cards visible poking out of the muck, the decision was made to retrieve them and turn them over.
