In 90 minutes from now at 12.30 p.m. local time, the first of three tournament days for the 2016 PokerStars EPT12 Dublin €10,300 High Roller will get underway at the Royal Dublin Society. Two High Roller Events have already determined their winners during the festival on Irish soil with Mustapha Kanit emerging victorious in the 25k High Roller for €501,640 and Charlie Carrel claiming the 10k single day title for €145,398.
Many of the regulars on the international circuit will return to the tables today for 10 levels of 60 minutes each with all participants receiving a starting stack of 50,000 chips. A single reentry is allowed and the registration remains open until the first card is dealt on Day 2. The full structure can be found here.
The PokerNews live reporting team will be on hand until a winner is crowned on Saturday and you can also check out the simultaneous updates of the €5,300 Main Event as of 12 p.m. local time as well.
As usual, the High Rollers don't like to show up in time for tournaments and the fields grow significantly once play is underway. So far there were 14 players registered and the start has been pushed back to 12:45 p.m. local time.
