Nível 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

David Vamplew and Zvi Stern had already registered and Ludovic Geilich was waiting for a seat to become available. The Scot had just won his ticket in a Satellite.

Litvinov Short Again

Nível 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

On a four-way flop of {10-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Spades}, the action was checked to Artem Litvinov and he bet 4,000 into a pot of 4,500. Charlie Carrel moved all in from the button for 9,850 and Andre Akkari as well as Joe Mouawad folded. Litvinov didn't call immediately either and Carrel joked "yessss I dodged the snap call."

Litvinov eventually folded and then demanded change, as he had put in a T-5,000 chip. "I said four. 400, no?" with a quite serious expression on the face. It was just an attempt to confuse the dealer, as he clearly meant 4,000.

Or Hadad Up and Down

Nível 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

On a flop of {j-Clubs}{a-Spades}{9-Hearts}, Hadad bet 3,000 and Andre Akkari called. Both players checked the {j-Diamonds} on the turn and Akkari bet 6,300 on the {5-Diamonds} river card. Hadad thought but eventually called, and Akkari showed {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}. Hadad was unhappy but shipped the chips over, showing {a-Hearts}.

A few hands later, on a river against Charlie Carrel, Hadad had bet 5,000 on {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{8-Spades}. "How is your read?" asked Hadad.

Carrel thought for a few seconds and just played with his chips.

"This is my first High Roller," said Hadad. "I was in the Main Event. I busted. With {8-}{8-}."

"I thought you would be more nervous, you don't look nervous," said Carrel, before mucking his cards

Pots for Greenwood and Dando

Nível 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

Paul Dando shoved all in for 18,900 with a pot of about as much on the {K-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and table neighbor Felix Stephensen folded after plenty of consideration. A call would have been for half his stack and the Norwegian, who won a Side Event a few days ago, was waiting for a better spot.

Timothy Adams is up nicely and Luc Greenwood follows not far behind after a hand against Connor Drinan. The latter bet half the pot for 10,600 on the {9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} turn and Greenwood check-called out of the small blind. Drinan then checked behind the {9-Clubs} river and Greenwood flipped over {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs} to win the pot.

Winz Shoves Into Luca

Nível 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

On the {A-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop with around 2,200 in the middle, Ivan Luca was spotted betting 2,000 chips and Berthold Winz then moved all in for 24,775. The German's last resort for less than half the starting stack eventually did the trick, as Luca folded after plenty of consideration.

Nishijima and Chadha Going Down

Nível 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

With the board {A-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} already complete, Lauri Varonen bet 21,500 against Thiago Nishijima and the Brazilian gave it some thought before making the call. Varonen showed {3-Clubs}{3-Spades} for a set of threes and Nishijima forfeited half his stack.

Carlos Chadha bet the {Q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} turn for 5,000 and Jeff Gross raised to 11,000. Chadha called and both players then checked the {4-Clubs} river. Chadha's {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for a busted straight and flush draw were no good, as Gross had the {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades} for a pair of queens.

David Peters Flops a Set; Gets Paid

Nível 4 : 200/400, 50 ante
David Peters
David Peters

David Peters raised to 1,050 pre-flop and was three-bet by Joao Simao on the button. Action folded back to Peters who made the call.

The two players went heads-up to a flop of {q-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, where Peters check-called a bet of 3,700 from the pre-flop aggressor. Both players checked the {k-Clubs} on the turn, before Peters bet out 8,500 on the river, which was the {8-Diamonds}. Simao thought for a minute before calling. David Peters tabled {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for a flopped set, and raked in the pot.

Tedeschi Already Down

Nível 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

On a {6-Spades}{j-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts} board, Paul-Francois Tedeschi, who had only recently joined the tables of the €10,000 High Roller had bet 11,200, just over half pot, against Mike Watson. Watson thought long and hard before making the call.

Tedeschi tabled pocket eights {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}, but Watson had found a call with {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades} to scoop the pot and chip up early on Day 1

Zaffran Takes from Lebedev

Nível 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

On the {7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} flop, Jean Paul Zaffran checked out of the big blind and then check-raised to 2,100 after Sergey Lebedev had bet 800. The Russian called and the {5-Clubs} turn saw Zaffran check-call a bet worth 3,000.

The {10-Hearts} came on the river and again Zaffran checked, Lebedev bet 7,000 and faced a check-raise to 21,500. "Eight nine?" the Russian asked and took his time before tossing in an obligatory chip for the call to get shown {8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for the nuts.

The same table also featured Andrew Chen, who busted and then reentered shortly after.

Bilic Thriving

Nível 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

Alen Bilic took a big pot off table neighbor Andrew Chen and then the table saw a raise to 800 by Sergey Lebedev. Chance Kornuth, Jean Paul Zaffran, Steve O'Dwyer and Chen in the big blind called. The flop {7-Spades}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} was checked through to Zaffran and he won the pot with a bet of 2,100.

New entries include Anthony Zinno and Dario Sammartino.
