Nível 24 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante
Noah Schwartz - 22nd Place
Noah Schwartz - 22nd Place

Noah Schwartz shoved all in for his last 142,000 with {q-}{q-} and was called by Jim Collopy, who held {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}.

"Good luck boys," a disappointed Schwartz said after the {2-Spades}{a-Clubs}{8-Clubs} flop left him nearly dead. The {2-Hearts} turn ended things.

Pastor Doubles Through Kornuth

Nível 24 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Chance Kornuth called flop and turn bets from Juan Martin Pastor in a three-bet pot as the board came out {q-Clubs}{6-Spades}{a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, and Pastor shoved all in on the {9-Hearts} river. It was about 600,000 to call, and Kornuth said he likely couldn't fold. In the end, he did make the call with {6-}{6-} for a set, but Pastor had the nuts with {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}.

Tim Reilly - 23rd Place

Maurice Hawkins opened for 60,000 in middle position and then called the shove of fellow American Tim Reilly, who had 450,000.

Hawkins: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Reilly: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

The board ran out {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}{10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}, safe for Hawkins.

"This is like when you have Xbox, and you hit the reset button," Hawkins said, perhaps referring to the fact that he's back to about where he started the day after losing some early chips. "I hit reset."

Cakmak Collects From Samuelsson

Nível 24 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

The action started with Emrah Cakmak opening for 55,000. Andreas Samuelsson called from the button and both players in the blinds folded. The flop came {Q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and Cakmak led out for 65,000 and was called by Samuelsson.

The turn was the {9-Hearts} and Cakmak leaned forward to get a better view of the board. He then bet 150,000. Samuelsson looked back at his cards, glanced at the dealer, thought for a moment and then made the call.

The river was the {9-Diamonds} and this time Cakmak pushed forward a large stack of T5,000 blue chips, forty of them to be precise, with three T25,000 chips stacked on top for a total bet of 275,000. Samuelsson gathered the chips to make the call in his hand, looking hesitant the entire time, almost seeming as if he wants to fold. He doesn't though.

Cakmak turned over {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for the turned nine-high straight and it's good as Samuelsson mucked.

Uwe Ritter opened to 56,000 in the hijack and Mayu Roca called from the big blind.

The flop came down {K-Hearts}{3-Spades}{K-Clubs} and Roca checked to Ritter who continued for 63,000. Roca tanked for a bit before he check-raised all in for 194,000. Ritter called with {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}, leading Roca's {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}.

Neither the {9-Diamonds} turn not {A-Hearts} river saved Roca, ending his Main Event in 24th place.

Hawkins is Sad

Nível 24 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante
Diego Ventura (Day 4) off to a good start on Day 5
Diego Ventura (Day 4) off to a good start on Day 5

Diego Ventura opened from the cutoff and Maurice Hawkins defended from the big blind and the two saw a flop of {8-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Hearts}. Hawkins led out for 25,000 and Ventura called.

The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and Hawkins bet again, this time for 83,000, and was called by Ventura.

The river was the {6-Spades} and this time Hawkins slowed down, checking it over to Ventura. After a moment of thought, Ventura slid a little more than two stacks of the blue T5,000 chips forward for a total bet of 220,000. Hawkins snap-called and Ventura turned over {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} for a flopped full house.

Hawkins mucked claiming he had the nut flush and then started laughing.

"Oh my my my," mutters Hawkins. He repeats that.

"Oh man. Come on man. Come on," continued Hawkins.

"I don't know if I'm supposed to be happy or sad. I guess sad. If flush didn't come I fold."

Hawkins dropped to 600,000 with that loss while Ventura moved up to 1,550,000.
