Natasha Barbour, the better half of Team PokerStars Pro Jason Mercier, raised to 1,000 under the gun and received a call from Spain's Carlos Vallve Arias in the cutoff. The UK's Scott Margereson then three-bet to 3,550 from the button, both blinds folded, and Barbour made the call. We missed the elimination of Team PokerStars Pro Jason Mercier, but we learned details after the fact from his girlfriend, Natasha Barbour.

As she told it, Mercier jammed his last 4,400 from the hijack with the and received calls from the players in the cutoff and on the button, who both checked the rainbow flop. When a appeared on the turn, the cutoff checked and then folded to a bet of 5,000 from the button, who had flopped a set with pocket fives.

Andy Hwang, the man who eliminated Pierre Neuville earlier in the day, raised to 1,200 after action folded to him on the button.
