An Oktoberfest to Remember for Fast
Eleven days ago, Dietrich Fast took down Event #2: €550 "Oktoberfest" No-Limit Hold'em at the 2015 World Series of Poker Europe, denying the UK's John Gale his second bracelet of the year while taking home €157,749 and his first WSOP gold bracelet. To do so, Fast outlasted a field of 2,144 entries.
Fast's rungood seems to have continued here at the EPT12 Malta as he's currently sitting on the big stack in the room, and most of it came from one big hand.
We picked up the action with 200,000 or so already in the pot and a board reading 
. Piotr Franczak bet 95,000 from the under-the-gun position, and Fast thought long and hard before making the call from the cutoff. When the 
completed the board on the river, Franczak paused for about 15 seconds before moving all in for 170,000, and Fast snapped him off with the

Meanwhile, Martin Finger, who was the first player to bust today and reenter, has been eliminated for a second time. Given this is a single reentry tournament, we wont' be seeing anymore of the EPT12 Barcelona High Roller champ.
